They always don't know who they are but they like it. It always saddens me when people don't know of the greatness of some of these lesser known bands. So I am going to give the top 10 bands that people always want to know about. So maybe someone out there who won't ride in my car will still be able to hear these bands.</span></div><a name='more'></a><br />

They are one of my favorite bands! There upbeat energy, quirky lyrics and catchy hooks make them a consistently excellent band. They have released 4 albums which are all amazing. One of their signature sounds is the use of a moog synthesizer that really identifies and separates them from many other alternative sounding bands. You might be wondering 'how quirky are their lyrics?" well here is some of their most crazy lyrics....</span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>"Let's get wrecked on pop tarts and sex and see the Taj Mahal</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Let's save birds from Prince William Sound and skateboard through the mall</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Let's fight crime with mangoes and limes and join the PGA</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Let's win big with every spin but hurry, I can't wait"</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i></i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">These however is an excerpt from my favorite song of theirs</span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>I can figure out the point of anything</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Just not as quick as I can mess up my life</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>With all my dreams hooked to hospital machines</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>I think, "let's try redefining beautiful.</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">So I would highly recommend them to anyone! Imagine a reincarnation of Freddie Mercury. Mika's songs are all extremely catchy and super happy sounding. His music is the kind you just like to put on at home when no one is around and just dance and sing at the top of your lungs....(not that I've done that.) He only has 2 albums so far but hopefully that will change in the future. Despite his album covers looking like a gay person threw up onto a episode of Dora the Explorer and Yo Gabba Gabba, try listening to Grace Kelly and not wanting to go get the album immediately.</span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Album to start with: <i>Life in Cartoon Motion</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Song to to see if you like him: <i>Grace Kelly</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><b><u>30 Seconds To Mars</u></b></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">30 Seconds to Mars is another one of my favvys. Granted I realize they aren't for everyone. They are an excellent rock band but some people aren't into that. 30 STM was a good band until the release of their latest album...then they became awesome. Their latest album is a masterpiece of rock. It's one of those albums that every song is good. The only word I can think of to describe their musical sound is "Epic." That describes it pretty completely.</span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Album to start with: <i>This Is War</i> </span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Song to see if you like them: <i>Kings and Queens</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><b><u>Jack's Mannequin</u></b></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Jack's Mannequin is Andrew McMahon's (from <i>Something Corporate) </i>side project. It's not as punk rocky as SC. It really shows how much he has grown as an artist and songwriter. His first album is another album that is just perfect all the way through. There is no bad song on this CD. Piano being the primary instrument in this band the music can range from fairly rock-ish to relaxed and easy going. <i>Jack's Mannequin</i> now has two albums, the latter being made after a long recovery from Cancer that Andrew went through. His experience can be summed up in his song "Swim" on his latest album. I love the lyrics more every time I hear it. Here's a sample of the lyrics from "Swim."</span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>I swim for brighter days despite of the absence of sun</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Choking on salt water</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>I'm not giving in, well, I'm not giving in, I swim</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>You gotta swim, swim in the dark</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>There's no shame in drifting</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Feel the tide shifting and wait for the spark</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Yeah, you gotta swim, don't let yourself sink</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Just find the horizon</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>I promise you, it's not as far as you think</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Album to start with: <i>Everything in Transit</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Song to see if you like them: <i>Mixed Tape</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><b><u>Jukebox The Ghost</u></b></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Jukebox the Ghost is a very odd sounding band. I'm not sure how to describe them. They are like a piano alternative band that is influenced by ragtime...maybe? Their songs all have a very distinct odd sound to them. If you like piano driven upbeat music that things like <i>Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, </i>or even <i>Ben Folds, </i> then I think it's safe to say that you will enjoy Jukebox the Ghost. They actually just released their second album a month ago. So I don't know what that one sounds like but i know their first album is enough for me to get it.</span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Album to start with: <i>Let Live and Let Ghost</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Song to see if you like them: <i>Hold It In</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><b><u>Citizen Cope</u></b></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Citizen Cope is some of the most chill music you will ever hear. They have so many catchy songs, a terrific lyricist, and several different sounds. I will say that Brand New's lyrics are some of the best I have ever heard. They have great great metaphors used in their lyrics, clever rhymes, heartfelt meanings, and wit all put in their lyrics. Here is one of the most heartfelt clever lyrics i have heard</span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Well, Jesus Christ, I’m alone again</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>So what did you do those three days you were dead?</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Because this problem's gonna last</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>More than the weekend</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">This is my favorite verse probably in almost any song...</span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Times; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 19.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>I wrote more postcards than hooks.</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>I read more maps than books.</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Feel like every chance to leave </i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>is another chance I should have took. </i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Every minute is a mile. </i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>I've never felt so hollow.</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>I'm an old abandoned church with broken pews</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>and empty aisles.</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 18.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>My secrets for a buck.</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>Watch me as I cut myself wide open</i></span></div><div style="font: 18.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: center;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>on this stage. They are super chill with a high tenor voice and they're from England. Awesome! They write some pretty catch tunes that you will be humming later. I'm a big fan of piano driven bands if you can't tell already. These guys are more on the slow chill side of the piano genre as opposed to Jack's Mannequin or Jukebox the Ghost but they are still a solid band that I highly respect. Keane currently have three albums out. </span></div><div style="font: 16.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 18.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Album to start with: <i>Hopes and Fears</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Song to see if you like them: <i>Somewhere Only We Know</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 18.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><b><u>Fun.</u></b></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 18.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Thats right. Fun. Period. It describes everything about them in the name of the band. Their music is just to have fun and boy to they excel with flying colors. Their fist song on their album changes sounds like 12 times starting with an accordion then to strings then flute then to electric guitar then to xylophone then to trumpet! CRAZY! but somehow they pull it off with what I consider the best on the album! They have SO much fun with their music. Oh and if this is a selling point of anyone who is familiar with <i>The Format, </i>this is the same singer. So top notch stuff. Nate Ruess has a great voice that hits a pretty dang high note at full voice in the first song. I saw these guys in concert and they just have a great time. I highly recommend these guys to anyone. I bet they will make you smile. </span></div><div style="font: 16.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 18.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Album to start with: <i>Aim and Ignite</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Song to see if you like them: <i>Be Calm</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 18.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"><i>____________________________________</i></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 18.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; min-height: 18.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;"></span></div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">Well there you have it. </span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">Scott Pilgrim is a normal 23 year old boy dating a 17 year old high schooler. Everything changes when he meets Ramona Flowers the actual girl of his dreams. He then proceeds to fight an organized League of Evil Ex-Boyfriends in order to win the right to date her. Mean while juggling trying to get a record deal for his band and dealing with all the actual drama of dating.</span></span><br />

</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">This film is mostly aimed at 30 and under age range. The move so directly targets that age range that older people might not "get it" and thats simply that they are a different mind set and come from a different culture than from what we grew up in, because our lives have been so heavily influenced by video games, music, tv, and comic books.. However, Scott Pilgrim i foresee having a cult following in the near future.</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;">This film was so incredible in nearly every aspect. First of all the over all feel of the film immediately pulls you in. It starts in a kind of a normal world where nothing crazy or out of the ordinary occurs and the life of Scott Pilgrim seems to be that of a normal Canadian boy. It quickly flips that on its head by turning into a live video game. The movie is similar to a musical in that people in musicals spontaneously break into songs but in Scott Pilgrim the spontaneously break into fights and sometimes both song and fights. The believability really goes out the window early in the film, but in a good way. You don't care about the real world believability soon after because the fantastical world of kung fu fighting, psychic powers, ninja teleporting , and musical sound that battles each other in the form of dragons and an ape like creature makes you giddy and instantly glued to the screen.</span></span><br />

It’s what allows the film to be so fresh and energetic and spontaneous and wonderfully unpredictable in every scene. And where it might pose a problem in another film, Wright keeps Scott Pilgrim anchored with a strong sense of character and heartfelt honesty. Those are the stakes that matter—the characters, and their relationships—not whether or not Pilgrim’s life is at risk, which we already know the answer to regardless of how realistic the film is.</span></span></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"><br />

The movie quickly gathers steam and never lets up. Wright shifts the film effortlessly from scene to scene, doing so through amazingly cleverly transitions that help to give it a momentum that never lets up. In a single interaction of dialogue, the location can change up to three times, and you might not even realize it! Pay attention! </span></span></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"><br />

It’s a comedy-action-adventure-musical-fantasy-romance—and it nails every single one. The movie epitimozes the best that each of its genres has to offer, while at the same time poking fun at them. It even incorporates things out side of movies like video games (Zelda sound effects and 8-bit weaponry) to comic books (extensive use of onscreen text and split screens) to music (alt rock songs prefaced with dialogue like, “We’re here to make you think about death and get sad and stuff!” Some of the flash backs in the movie are just pages from the books! How cool is that?!</span></span></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"><br />

For those that get those additional nuggets of goodness, they will appreciate them, but the film's humor, plot, and characters stand alone and can still be enjoyed to the fullest. The nerd references are just a side quest (and if you didn't get that then you might be the people that won't get those references.)</span></span></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"><br />

The comedy in this movie comes from every possible angle. Much of it directly from the source material, but there are many additional small things that Wright adds to the movie that makes it even better! Every bit of the humor is unpredictable and quirky. From blatantly addressing bleeping of swear words to making a whole scene designed after an episode of Seinfeld with a laugh track and everything, you will never see the humor coming.</span></span></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"><br />

You instantly understand the nature of each character as the enter the screen because they are filled to the brim with charismatic character. Michael Cera is the perfect Scott Pilgrim. He plays the timid 23 year old that can beat the snot out of you with flawless ease. His timing and mannerisms accurately reflect the character from the novels. I my self saying "oh so thats how he would emphasize that sentence," mostly because I am a nerd. But, Cera really pulls of his fighting in this film. The fighting is amazing and Michael Cera looks completely believable in his action hero role. </span></span></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"><br />

That is Scott's cool gay roommate, Wallace Wells. This guy was the perfect adaptation from the book. Everything he says and does was so funny I looked forward to when i next saw him on the screen just as I looked forward to when i would see him on another page. When you see this movie, and you must, watch Wallace because hopefully he will bring you as much joy and laugher as he did to me.</span></span><br />

It's charisma, humor, characters, and fights really have made something new and never before seen. <span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">This review has been along time coming. I know that it's super nerdy, but I have come to accept that is who I am and you should too. If you know me or have asked me about video games, Mass Effect always comes up. I am pretty passionate about it. About as passionate as Richard Dreyfuss in 'What About Bob.' When Mass Effect came out I had already been following its progress and development for a while, but nothing could have prepared me for how amazing this game was. So now I will explain why...</span></span><br />

<div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: blue;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Storyline</span></span></span></b></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span> </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"> As usual I like to start with the strongest element of what I am reviewing. If we were reviewing Sarah Jessica Parker it would be her cheek bones. If we were reviewing me then it would be my uncanny impression of a raven. The only problem is, everything is so good! So I decided that I should talk about the plot of the game 1st to set it up. The game takes place in the year 2183 only about 40 years after humans develop faster than light space travel. The opening give a quick background of our hero Commander Shepard. In the first level of the game you are being tested to see if you are able to become apart of an elite team of military called the Spectres. During this mission you discover information that the entire galaxy will be destroyed in a matter of weeks. Commander Shepard then goes on an extravaganza to stop this from occurring, along the way acquiring team members. As video game story lines go, Mass Effect is one of the best. Not many games can fit a quality script with sweet butt kicking action, powers, and weapons that fold up and fit in your pocket. The nature of the game is to have a environment that allows you to make choices that effect the game play. You can choose to be a dudley do right good guy or a James Dean renegade. All the talking is controlled by you. When you speak you are given different things that you can say and guide the conversation down the way that you want it to go. </span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Depending on how you handle things in conversation and in action, people will treat you different and new dialogue options will become available the more renegade you become.</span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"> Also the story line is so good that it is a triliogy. Mass Effect is only Act One of this epic tale. </span></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />

</span> </span></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"> The characters in this game are outstanding and fun to interact with. I can't tell you what kind of character Commander Shepard is because he is you and because of the good cop/bad cop versatility of the game, you can make Shepard however you want him....seriously. In the beginning of the game you are given a character building portion to literally mold Shepard's face to whatever you want it to look like. He can be black, white, latino. He can have a big nose or a tiny one. He can have no hair or spiky, or shaggy (not too shaggy tho...you're in the military). Eye color, hair color, lip size, ear size, thickness of eyebrows, and even facial scars are all options available to you to customize Commander Shepard to however you want him to look...you can even make Commander Shepard a woman. You even choose where Shepard was born and how he decided to join the military. </span></span><br />

</span> </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">As you go throughout the game you get your team assembled pretty quick....like before you go on your first mission. </span></span><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">You start out with Kaidan during your training mission and he is a fairly standard character that isn't particularly fascinating to me. He has biotic powers that allow him to do things like a "force push" or create a mental shield around himself. He is also skilled in tech abilities. If you are a female Shepard, Kadian is a romantic option, should you choose it. </span></span><br />

Wrex is a bounty hunter that joins your squad initially because you are both looking for the same man, but after you tell him of the impending doom of the universe and the mass quantities of enemies that you will be going up against, Wrex stays on your squad so he can be in the thick of all the action and kill everything they come up against. </span></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic; line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />

</span> </b></span></span></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"> Where do I even begin to talk about how awesome the game play is? I guess I'd start with Mass Effect is a 3rd person Role Playing Game. The world is expansive and you can explore it as you see fit. Most of your missions you can take at your leisure and in whatever order you want. I already touched on the good cop/bad cop thing and the dialogue options. </span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span> </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">The actual fighting is pretty good. In the beginning of the game you choose your class. There are 6 classes</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span> </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Soldier - Based on health and armor. Can use every gun. No powers.</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Engineer - has all the tech abilities and can only use pistols.</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Adept - has all the biotic powers and can only use pistols. </span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Vangaurd - a mix of the soldier and the adept. Can use some guns and has some biotic powers.</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Infiltrator - a mix of the soldier and the engineer. Can use some guns and has some tech abilities.</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Sentinel - a mix of the engineer and the adept. Does not get any guns and has tech and biotic powers.</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span> </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">The kicker is that each class plays differently. Playing as an adept is completely different than playing as a soldier. You have to adopt different tactics, tic tacs, and different ways to accomplish tasks depending on your class. This makes the replay-ability of the game outstanding. I played it again and again almost being every class and gender and such before Mass Effect 2 came out....</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span> </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Besides the main mission there are like 15 hours of side quests to handle and while it's easy to ignore a paragraph of text asking you to fetch a random item, which is what most RPGs offer. Try passing up the offer to take up a quest when you have a voice filled with inflection asking for your assistance. Not just a voice; a being with real motivations that you can converse with, learn more about, and ultimately relate to. Everyone has a voice and everyone has a character. It is really amazing. The voice acting is good, but the writing is even better. To think that this level of detail was put into some characters that you may never even interact with is mind-boggling.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Probably the coolest part of the game is how things can go wrong. In the game you are able to make your own choices and as such you have to accept the consequences. In the game depending on how things go a character might get killed. Then its over. It's not like you build your team and then you get them forever no matter what. If they seriously get killed some how then they are gone for the rest of the game....which is something you don't see very often in a RPG... Kinda like how you felt about Aries in Final Fantasy 7 after she gets killed before the 1st disc is over. I really respect games that are willing to risk things like that and I promise you... you will loose a character. A part in the game makes you choose between 2 characters and you will have to save one and let another one die. I won't tell you which, just be prepared.</span><br />
<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span> </div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Everything about this game is top notch and everyone who owns a 360 should own it. I said many times before this is the best game on the 360 in my opinion and probably one of the top 10 games ever for me. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span> </div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Storyline - 10/10</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Characters - 9.6/10</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Gameplay - 9.5/10</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Voice actings and lip synching - 10/10</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Over all score - 9.9/10 </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />

I got to the theater at 10:30 so that I could get good seats and that just what I did. The seats were perfect. I was proud. There were a bunch of annoying people behind me that threw at least 25 beach balls around the theater, but even they shut up when the movie started. Also a trailer for a movie came on about people being stuck in an elevator and people seemed interested in it until it said "from the mind of M Night Shyamalan" Everyone in the theater groans and let out sounds of disappointment. Which makes me wonder.... could "The Last Airbender" be the end of his career? Anywayz so lets get into it...</span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs6JM63LwFVQFRu8dhthsAqg5EVQyiG57wuRAL-hU11NC0YBE1d0XIZfoVpTrNWE-bU2TVFPKUZVQIXMG-ra2kaZpS6xiTrd6xGEije3lGH2jkhKcEEGkKq1UwYp65q30O5yKspaoGvgc/s1600/inception-poster.jpg"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs6JM63LwFVQFRu8dhthsAqg5EVQyiG57wuRAL-hU11NC0YBE1d0XIZfoVpTrNWE-bU2TVFPKUZVQIXMG-ra2kaZpS6xiTrd6xGEije3lGH2jkhKcEEGkKq1UwYp65q30O5yKspaoGvgc/s320/inception-poster.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5494595483593452018" style="cursor: pointer; width: 216px; height: 320px; " /></span></a></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">Plot</span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">The plot of this movie is very clever and original. If you are unfamiliar with what this movie is, it is about invading peoples dreams. This involves a matrix like system of "hacking" into a dream world that isn't real. There are differences such as if you die in the dream you just wake up. Thats all. Also physics can be bent but they never do it because that causes disturbances. Which is sad because they show some really cool scenes in the movie of manipulating the world of the dream on the spot but never use it in the actual mission. In the movie we learn that Cobb (DiCarprio) is a man who is skilled at breaking into peoples subconscious in their dreams and stealing information that is left vulnerable by sleeping. He is trying to get home to his kids because he is a wanted man in the US. So he spends his life jumping from country to country to try to get enough jobs to get back home. He then gets a job that involves the opposite of what he does. Instead of stealing an idea from the subconscious, he is asked to plant an idea in the subconscious so that upon the target's waking he will develop an idea that was placed there with out his knowledge and will do something he might have otherwise not done. </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">Pretty deep stuff. </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">It gets complicated when in order to do this they must create a dream within a dream within a dream. They have to get really deep so that he doesn't seem like the idea was told to him. He has to think that he had the idea and it wasn't given to him. In the dream time is slower and with three layers of dreaming it gets kinda confusing. Five minutes in the real world while you are asleep is an hour in a dream, and if you go three layers deep then lets do the math...</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">5 minutes in the real world is 60 minutes in the dream world. Inside that dream 5 minutes is an hour so the second layer of dreaming you would have 12 hours and then on the third layer you would have 6 days. So you could spend 6 days in that third layer of dreaming and only 5 minutes would have passed in the real world. That all comes into play because they have to leave someone in each layer of the dream to wake them up and take care of them. So it gets pretty crazy with seconds for one person being 30 minutes for another. Because there is so much dream in dreaming the characters all have what is called "totems," an object that only they are intimately familiar with that lets you know if you are dreaming or not. For example, Cobb has a top that he spins and if it never falls then he knows he is dreaming.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" line-height: 20px; font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><p style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; border-top-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-bottom-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-width: initial; border-color: initial; list-style-type: none; list-style-position: initial; list-style-image: initial; outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline- color:initial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">Narratively speaking, Inception</span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"> isn’t a terribly complex tale. If at times it feels like it, that’s because it’s so heavy on exposition and rules that you’ll barely be able to keep track of all the information being thrown at you. Just when you think you have a solid grasp on what the possibilities and limitations of the world are, you don’t, because there are still more rules to learn, and these rules change those last rules in ways that are vital to understanding other rules that haven’t even been introduced yet.</span></span></p><p style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; border-top-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-bottom-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-width: initial; border-color: initial; list-style-type: none; list-style-position: initial; list-style-image: initial; outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline- color:initial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></span></p><p style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; border-top-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-bottom-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-width: initial; border-color: initial; list-style-type: none; list-style-position: initial; list-style-image: initial; outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline- color:initial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" line-height: normal; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">Don't worry though. They do a pretty good job of explaining how everything is done and the meaning behind it. Even though the movie is very technical I believe the average viewer will be able to follow and comprehend it fairly easily. This is done through because of the new comer, Ellen Page. She is new to this world so everything is explained to her and thus to the audience.</span></span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" line-height: normal; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"> The plot is very creative has plenty of twists and turns. This is the same guy that brought you National Treasure, Cool Runnings, and 3 Ninja's! I went into the movie excited. Maybe it is just the child in me but all the magic and wizardry gets me excited. Not like harry potter wizardry, but like Merlin wizardry! I was pretty pumped. So lets get started...<br /><div><br /></div><div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnhqjJv0XqunJEdZFsOe099qvgMuCJw2HGuuIYlx7FyrgVbyIk23u9Cj_34Agby-PeQuSBRmjEKKDu1f5HJ9aKjtXJ2HoesONgJZTF0NY6MhEQ37C93VbnZcgNsNWASCaIbnBK9zYxvVA/s1600/The-Sorcerers-Apprentice-Movie-Poster.jpg"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjnhqjJv0XqunJEdZFsOe099qvgMuCJw2HGuuIYlx7FyrgVbyIk23u9Cj_34Agby-PeQuSBRmjEKKDu1f5HJ9aKjtXJ2HoesONgJZTF0NY6MhEQ37C93VbnZcgNsNWASCaIbnBK9zYxvVA/s320/The-Sorcerers-Apprentice-Movie-Poster.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5493866429746383858" style="cursor: pointer; width: 217px; height: 320px; " /></a></div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Characters</b></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>This is the first thing i chose to talk about because it is the strongest part of the movie. The actors and characters in this movie are ...well... magical! I am not normally a fan of Nicholas Cage. He kinda is annoying to me...except in a very few select roles... like the dad in "Kick Ass." This is another one of those roles. The part of Balthazar is perfect for Nick. He is a bit crazy and very sarcastic who wouldn't be if they had been around for over 1000 years betrayed by his best friend and having the love of his life trapped in a Russian nesting doll. He really gives a fun performance that will even make someone like me have doubts about my previous thoughts about Ol' Nick. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxW8OJv90Ikyh6C4WTL5eCHIkZo-w8t12aqqIeMa_VPU0GOipq62cUzNBWXO-aORzm600XySu70-UB8i97bMsF9Xcz1TD18WiBHz4OtVlWCIclHzwJzzItIzL2yBVgwMQm9n4YekekpXU/s1600/the-sorcerers-apprenticenicolas-cagea-little-crazy.jpg"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxW8OJv90Ikyh6C4WTL5eCHIkZo-w8t12aqqIeMa_VPU0GOipq62cUzNBWXO-aORzm600XySu70-UB8i97bMsF9Xcz1TD18WiBHz4OtVlWCIclHzwJzzItIzL2yBVgwMQm9n4YekekpXU/s320/the-sorcerers-apprenticenicolas-cagea-little-crazy.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5493867925886503954" style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 241px; " /></a></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span>Jay Baruchel has been very minor roles is some past films like Tropic Thunder, Night at the Museum 2, and such. He finally landed a part as the lead actor in She's out of my League which he did great in. So...sophomore slump? Nope. He is fantastic in the Sorcerer's Apprentice as Dave. His nerdy awkward brand of humor mixed with silly comments here and there is vaguely reminiscent of Michael Cera as George Michael in Arrested Development. His timing and quips are only made stronger by his odd nerd voice. Even sharing the lead role spotlight with Nicholas Cage he stands strong and shows that he can hold his own. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimez_yUsyweaaCCAoeJZQnAiaqJ3qBU01biEZMTvEh5Q5OeN5U6Egx08c_OouJtvntx9Z37z08C1PxpTyb7UEEdSICzO84uBZgXn5Djr64yDTE7-Bg7lOXGkLmgFQDdJoZeZaa9fEkx7E/s1600/spl89630_015_01.jpg"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimez_yUsyweaaCCAoeJZQnAiaqJ3qBU01biEZMTvEh5Q5OeN5U6Egx08c_OouJtvntx9Z37z08C1PxpTyb7UEEdSICzO84uBZgXn5Djr64yDTE7-Bg7lOXGkLmgFQDdJoZeZaa9fEkx7E/s320/spl89630_015_01.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5493867791138734098" style="cursor: pointer; width: 310px; height: 320px; " /></a></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span>The villain Horvath played by Alfred Molina (whom I always love) is of course exceptional. It is a semi fresh look at sorcerery relating it to physics and science. The plot is fairly predictable for the most part but that doesn't hinder it from being super fun. The pacing of the movie was great as well as the over all tone of the film. The special effects really kinda took precedent over the plot though. The magic that happens in the movie is all very creative and interesting how the battles take place. The only disappointing thing about the magic battles is that the final show down comes to a plasma bolt fight. It was very sad at all the creative and ingenuity that went into the battle scenes in the rest of the movie were much more fun and elaborate than the magic equivalent of a western shoot out at the end. Of course this movie isn't aimed at people my age, I am aware of that, so it is forgivable because the rest of the movie really is fun. There is even a recreation of the fantasia's Sorcerer's apprentice scene with the mops.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Cinematography</b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>The movie was filled with special effects that made for a very pretty picture, is the first thing that comes to mind. The look and feel of all the magic is well done. The actual cinematography is fairly standard. We don't want to get too fancy on a children's movie, but it accomplishes the task of telling the story in a easy to follow way. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Over all I would recommend this movie to people who enjoy magic, nerds, and a fun movie. While the ending was kind of abrupt and stale don't let the last 4 minutes of the movie stop you from seeing it. It even leaves it semi open ended for a sequel. Of course. It's wednesday the 16th in June and I have to give a lesson in about 3 hours. So I'm gonna keep working on that after I stop doing this. haha My work ethic is so poor. <div><br /></div><div><object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/s7goAn94buA&hl=en_US&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/s7goAn94buA&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object><br /><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>If you were wondering where stephanie was ...she is out sick today. She doesn't have the super powered immune system that I have. Poor girl. </div><div><br /></div><div>On a side note....the mac mini's have been updated but no word on the imac. I am beginning to think they might not be updated till like october....I don't know if i can wait that long for an upgrade. I don't know what they would upgrade anyway. Hmmm...should I go ahead and get an imac? or wait? Thoughts?</div><div><br /></div><div>Jeremiah</div></div>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-92017886263789104572010-06-08T22:43:00.001-05:002010-06-08T22:52:35.006-05:00Alas...the stage! It calls to me!<div>Yeah so I worked through my lunch break so I could go see Unbound perform. It was a great time! </div><div><br /></div><object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kc-rzVrSMCE&hl=en_US&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kc-rzVrSMCE&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object><div><br /></div><div>After seeing this and hearing the laugher I just knew this wasn't the end of me doing skits and such. I wanted to run up there so bad and join the skits...but I couldn't. My time is over. It was a very happy and sad experience for me. I didn't really know how to feel. I'm still kinda sorting through my feelings like dirty laundry. </div><div><br /></div><div>The cool thing was that some kid asked how the group was started and I was pointed to in the back. They then demanded an encore but since they didn't have any other skits or storytimes that didn't involve me they asked me to come narrate Abraham. Sadly and thankfully there wasn't enough time for one more....cuz i don't know if i would have remembered all the narrations. So we just sang a few of our songs which i remembered, of course. </div><div><br /></div><div>Then they were all demanding autographs after the show and I stood of to the side. One older girl remembered me and asked me to sign their card....then EEEVERYONE wanted me to sign their card....I didn't even do anything .... I felt weird. I didn't deserve to sign anything. I am happy to sign something if I actually perform, but I didn't and it was strange.... </div><div><br /></div><div>Anwayz. Unbound is here. Time to go. lata. </div><div><br /></div><div>PRay for my lesson tomorrow</div><div><br /></div><div>Jeremiah</div>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-9198781607082071272010-06-07T22:06:00.000-05:002010-06-07T22:23:28.482-05:00Summer Update...<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vuM41WVNOxU&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vuM41WVNOxU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-2828860948837723652010-05-24T13:54:00.000-05:002010-05-24T15:21:06.938-05:00Intern Initiation...So heres how it all went down. <div><br /></div><div>Saturday afternoon I went to eat with the other intern for the Legacy Church of Christ, Stephanie Bertot, and 3 girls from the youth group. She had been the intern last year so she knew them from last summer. She told me how her car got pranked like 8 times last summer. When the girls inquired about my car I told them they will never know...</div><div><br /></div><div>but they saw my car when we left the restaurant. </div><div><br /></div><div>They then proceeded to follow me home to see where I live.</div><div><br /></div><div>I went into my house and opened the blinds so I could see if my car were attacked. About 930 I saw some car pull up, turn off, and someone approached my car. I had already planned to go to a movie with a friend so I decided it was time to leave. </div><div><br /></div><div>I walked outside and gave the car an evil eye. As I drove away the car turned on and followed me. So with some fancy driving and making it through a yellow light and it turning red letting no one else pass, I ditched them. </div><div><br /></div><div>I proceeded to pick up my friend and go to see shrek 4. (which was terrible by the way)</div><div><br /></div><div>When I left the theater I was surprised to find my car saran wrapped, stringed, toilet papered, ribboned, and written on. I was very impressed.</div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:130%;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:15px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 16px; "><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3OBbFMA2M_jOMdJku9n6nVTRM8zIzbBS-D33Pg5CuzncZyREgfCuHnSL38flZmmLflfb8X9KQybgG5v8hv9GyPGecgr1K3Pn9Qun6JnM5BA0UxZqs6y0sPILwzGip2FwNguOFDk1MgNY/s1600/trashed+car.jpg"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3OBbFMA2M_jOMdJku9n6nVTRM8zIzbBS-D33Pg5CuzncZyREgfCuHnSL38flZmmLflfb8X9KQybgG5v8hv9GyPGecgr1K3Pn9Qun6JnM5BA0UxZqs6y0sPILwzGip2FwNguOFDk1MgNY/s320/trashed+car.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5474934112327317202" style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px; " /></a></span></span></span></div><div><br /></div><div>How did they find me? There was no way they could have tailed me. </div><div><br /></div><div>I later found out that they just guessed where I was going and they got lucky that I did go there. </div><div><br /></div><div>They won this round, but revenge will be mine yet! </div><div><br /></div><div>Jeremiah </div>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-4943656124074660792010-05-22T13:40:00.000-05:002010-05-22T20:34:10.558-05:00Prince of Persia: Forgettable Sands?<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">I </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">pre-</span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">ordered the new Prince of Persia game The Forgotten Sands. It came in monday night but unfortunately I was in Tulsa so I couldn't play it. So I started playing it the moment I came home Thursday night. Here is my review of the game for all those wondering if they should get it.....</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></div><div><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;">Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.</span></span></b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"> </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">If you are like me then you are a die hard POP (Prince of Persia) fan. The sands of time series are my favorite games, although the Mass Effect series is possibly even with it. So I jump at the chance of getting a new prince of persia game. I made the mistake of jumping at the reboot game and that was abysmal. This one I was slightly hesitant but more optimistic when i saw that it is the same prince and you can rewind time. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" ;font-family:Helvetica;font-size:medium;"><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">After completing the game in maybe about 5 - 6 hours I can say with some certainty that some aspects of this new POP is awesome and some suck...</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;">Combat</span></span></b></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">The fighting is the worst part of this game. The game just throws just massive hordes of enemies at you that you mow down with the assistance of your different powers. There is no strategy to the combat unlike Sands of Time. The other POP's had a different variety of enemies that you had to change strategies for. Forgotten Sands you do nothing but button mash X. You have the opportunity to vault over enemies like the old games and perform aerial slash attacks but theres no point when there are 70+ enemies on the field. Focusing on one when your broad sword swing could get so many more is just pointless. There is no blocking in combat either. There is either attack or dodge. Which makes for even less tactical strategy to the combat. Another annoying aspect is that in the other games when you were hit you fell down or stumbled back, but not in Forgotten Sands. In combat there is hardly any indication that you have been hit and because of that I was startled every time i looked at my health bar to find that I have been taking hits this whole time. By the end of the game my sword swings had become so powerful I was killing enemies in one hit. Even the REALLY huge guys were felled by my sword in 4 hits. Where is the fun in that?</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;">The Powers</span></span></b></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;">Rewind -</span></span></b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span>You of course have the ability to rewind again which is of course my favorite. Allowing you to make a mistake and then take it back. If you didn't like how much life you lost then take it back. It's that simple. </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;">Freezing Water -</span> </span></b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">Now they introduced a new power that you use constantly through out the game, even more than rewind. This is the power to freeze water. So, of course, there are waterfalls and spouts every where. Even places like the prison. Out of place much? So with this new power you can freeze a water spout into a pole to swing from and waterfalls into walls to wall jump. This made the already amazing acrobatics even more fun by adding this element. It makes getting around rooms much more tricky. They mix it up too by having water falls in between spouts so you have to unfreeze the water to pass through the water fall and then refreeze it before you catch the next spout. It gets pretty intense especially when there are 7 water falls all facing each other that you have to jump through the 1st one and freeze the water to wall jump back off the second one then wall jump off the 1st one to propel your self forward and unfreeze the water to pass through the second one and freeze it to wall jump off the 3rd one.... and repeat that all the way across the room. </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;">Recall (select locations) -</span> </span></b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">You get an additional similar power for one part of the game where you can recall a segment of ground that has long since eroded or recall a pillar that is now broken. But only one piece at a time...this with the addition of the water freezing makes for a wild ride around a room. </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">The other powers are mostly for combat which I only upgraded to get to the things like more health or stronger sword attacks. They were helpful but i found other upgrades more important. </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;">Fire trail -</span></span></b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span>an ability that makes a burning trail as you run so you can run through you enemies and when they chase you they will ignite and loose more health the more you upgrade it. I imagine that this would get much more deadly as you approach lvl 4 but by that time you can already pwn everything insight with one hit. </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;">Stone armor -</span></span></b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"> makes you invincible and the more you upgrade it the longer it lasts. This is the ability that I used the most and I found came in handy more than the others. This is nice because you can have no fear. You just waltz into enemies and start cutting them down and you don't have to worry about your health bar. I found this power particularly helpful on the final battle. I didn't have to do anything but stand there while he pummeled me and then I just attacked his weak spot when he presented it. Talk about cheap... :-) This ability also allows you to run through traps and such with out any fear of getting hurt. Also kinda takes the strategy out of getting around the traps.</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;">Whirlwind -</span></span></b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span>make a strong wind that goes in every direction from you and knocks back all your enemies and gets stronger and more deadly the more you upgrade it. Whirlwind was nice even though i didn't use it much. You do find your self surrounded a lot in battle and this can help out</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;">Ice sword -</span> </span></b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">this gives your sword a frost attack that when you swing a wave of ice will shoot out from it damaging everyone standing in front of the swing. It gets stronger and the range becomes greater as you upgrade it. I thought ice sword was a bit cheat like. It was so over powered that you didn't even have to get close to enemies before they were all dead. You just sent waves of ice at them to kill them...so i avoided using it. Becides by the time you have your max upgraded sword you don't need any thing like that. </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">Each of these abilities uses a "Sand tank" even though they aren't called that and who wants to be out of sand at the end of the battle and then you have to get around the room and not have any rewinds for traps and such.</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">You level up your abilities in a upgrade system reminiscent of the license board from FFXII. I was fine with the upgrade system even though I had to upgrade things like fire trail to get to other stuff I wanted it was fine.</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">If you're wondering if this game will be a return to puzzles like Sand of Time you are....kinda right. There were some puzzles just like Sands of Time but not as hard. There was some puzzles that involved freezing water and statues and that was really fun.</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">The over all game experience was good. Despite the how quick the game went by it was really fun. Maybe thats why it went by so fast. The acrobatics and environmental puzzles getting around were made so much more fun by the freeze water ability along with the recall ability. The freezing water pretty much made the game for me. I know I was harsh on the battle system but I still had fun using powers on the enemies and making my way across a room by hopping from head to head. The voice acting is as good as ever and the cinematic cut scenes are awesome especially the opening video which looks like a real movie. Also the moments leading up to the final fight is the most epic thing I have ever played. </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">So if you are a Prince of Persia fan like me then you will be happy if you are a newcomer to the series it's hard to say... I think newcomers will like it for the water and the acrobatics and such. Give it shot. </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">I would give the game a 7/10</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#FFFFFF;">BONUS</span></b></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia, serif;">I just started another game and it remembered all the powers I had so now i can upgrade everything to the max. Interesting tid bit...</span></div></span></div>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-31152933318126641822010-05-14T16:37:00.001-05:002010-07-22T13:40:49.248-05:00Sweet Summer Movies....This summer is going to be a great summer for movies. That part isn't out of the ordinary. The strange part was that i couldn't sleep. I tossed and turned and finally gave up at like 4:45. I then proceeded to get up and shower and watch episodes of TV on Hulu. </div><div><br /></div><div>At 730 I went to a prayer breakfast at Chic-fil-a with some of my youth group kids that invited me yesterday.</div><div><br /></div><div>So here I am... 8 am....quite literally about maybe 1 hour of sleep....but oddly feeling fine. Strange. Maybe I'm becoming a super human that doesn't have to sleep. Hopefully.</div><div><br /></div><div>Anywayz the rest of yesterday was good. Just as i predicted. Yesterday I went to wednesday night church at Legacy and met lots of kids. I tried super hard to remember all their names. I have a terrible memory for names. I remembered a lot though. I was proud. </div><div><br /></div><div>After church I celebrated my BWW anniversary. I ate them while watching How I Met Your Mother. Delicious. </div><div><br /></div><div>Also I found out yesterday that like every awesome movie about the future or alternate timelines or any awesome movie is based off books and short stories by like one guy! </div><div><br /></div><div>Philip K. Dick! </div><div><br /></div><div>Amazing! I'm defiantly going to go find all his books and read them. Short stories and books of his that have been turned in to movies....</div><div><br /></div><div>Blade Runner </div><div>Minority Report (if you know me, you know this is like one of my favorite movies)</div><div>Total Recall</div><div>Paycheck</div><div>Next</div><div>A Scanner Darkly</div><div><br /></div><div>and soon a movie called The Adjustment Bureau... Looks awesome. Look it up. </div><div><br /></div><div>So that totally blew my mind yesterday! So I'm going to half-price books today to look for them!</div><div><br /></div><div>by the way book title for Blade Runner: "Do androids dream of electric sheep?" </div><div><br /></div><div>Best book name ever!</div><div><br /></div><div>Also... hair cut soon....</div><div><br /></div>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-29116947138964611062010-05-12T12:07:00.000-05:002010-05-12T12:16:04.602-05:00Happy Anniversary! It's my anniversary today! <div><br /></div><div>No not with Kristi....</div><div><br /></div><div>With Buffalo Wild Wings! They are so thoughtful! Needless today I will be celebrating my anniversary tomorrow on boneless thursday! So Exciting! </div><div><br /></div><div>It's gonna be a good day...</div>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-54601940837029579632010-05-11T13:02:00.001-05:002010-05-11T13:21:53.338-05:00All Aboard....All right N00bs and N00bets! I'm back on the blogging train!<div><br /></div><div>I am about to embark (yep still continuing with the train analogy) on a journey as a intern youth minister at the Legacy Church of Christ. So I decided this was a good of a time as any to start up blogging again. This way anyone who cares about me back at OC or something can see what I'm up too. </div><div><br /></div><div>So here is the info since i last entered a post. I am now graduated. I graduated with a degree in Creative Media (Aka film).</div><div><br /></div><div>Thats about all worth mentioning. haha.</div><div><br /></div><div>Legacy has a special place in my heart because if i recall correctly it was one of the first (if not the first) places that Unbound performed on their very first summer on tour. We stayed there like 2 days and really got to know the kids well. Now its been 5 years since that time and all those kids have graduated but I still am excited.</div><div><br /></div><div>I am working on getting an imac seen here....</div><div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHWgGCze-F77V3aeSkshpCXEz_e4ybHSyEQ17y5R4xChyphenhyphenC8O6K68_6_ViuHG90gDp4r0TVJV-oxjAI3CKm35R5JLBmzzwr2Ouv3ig2bdBfG1IJit1i065kIdjwQ39UFNrqdtxnpriLrcQ/s1600/imac27.jpg"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHWgGCze-F77V3aeSkshpCXEz_e4ybHSyEQ17y5R4xChyphenhyphenC8O6K68_6_ViuHG90gDp4r0TVJV-oxjAI3CKm35R5JLBmzzwr2Ouv3ig2bdBfG1IJit1i065kIdjwQ39UFNrqdtxnpriLrcQ/s320/imac27.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470077597257525314" style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 277px; " /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>This will allow me to edit videos with ease and will just be a nice addition to my like for the foreseeable future. This imac is made possible by past Jeremy. Who deposited money over the years and then forgot about his savings account. Present Jeremy was reminded of that account and when he looked into it low and behold $3000.</div><div><br /></div><div>Winner winner chicken dinner. </div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks past jeremy. </div><div><br /></div><div>So now I can get this computer with money to spare and also get the profits from working for Legacy to get an apt up in edmond when the summer is over. YAY!</div><div><br /></div><div>Also Courtney Price, old friend from elementary school, contacted me to help her film something this friday because she too is a film major. Fancy that. </div><div><br /></div><div>To quote Kronk from the Emperor's New Groove "Oh yeah... It's all comin together." </div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-12079264216777535142009-12-11T00:31:00.000-06:002009-12-11T00:51:01.175-06:00That Last 7 Minutes....You know that last seven minutes of a really good movie? The moment where you understand that the movie is about to end very very soon but you love it so much you want there to be a whole 2 more hours?<div><br /></div><div>That is how I feel about my life right now. </div><div><br /></div><div>It is the end. </div><div><br /></div><div>My time in LA has come to a close and I don't want it to. It technically has already ended. This is the remainder of time after. It ended yesterday and I had to say goodbye to five great friends last night. Tonight I will have to say goodbye to four more. Then I will have to leave the remainder of my friends behind and head back to the center of America.</div><div><br /></div><div>I wish this part of my life turned out to be the Lord of the Rings extended edition and there was an hour more of footage to this semester and we had to stay longer. </div><div><br /></div><div>Chunkers... I will miss you and always love you. As much as I hate the name "the chunk" (and yes i will not dignify it with capitalizing it) I do enjoy calling you all Chunkers...so maybe there is something to it after all. Regardless of what I call you. I love you. Have a great time away from me and I will see you next summer!</div><div><br /></div><div>Lets face it everyone is writing this kinda stuff on Facebook and blogs right now and I'm just one of the many, but that truly shows the impact and the power that these friends have had on my life. </div><div><br /></div><div>It's going to be a rough road home....and I'm not talking about the state of the road....</div><div><br /></div><div>Jeremiah</div>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-84438144329262107612009-12-05T17:55:00.000-06:002009-12-05T18:15:01.100-06:00My Last Week In LA....Alright! It is down to the final days! I have less than a week left here in LA before I start making the drive home! <div><br /></div><div>It's been amazing here and now I really wish I didn't have to leave. Though I am looking forward to my good friends, walmart, parking lots, cheaper gas and just lower prices in general! It's gonna be great! </div><div><br /></div><div>I didn't think I would want to stay here when i arrived but now I'm not so sure. Now I think I would love to live with the people I have met here (many of whom are staying and living together) </div><div><br /></div><div>So maybe I'll come back in the fall or something and get to work on projects with Jeremy, Kelsey, Josh and whoever else will come take part in our shenanigans! Anywayz heres some starter news...<div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; white-space: pre; "><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KfV_qL4up-E&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KfV_qL4up-E&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></span></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Oh man last tuesday the most amazing thing happened! Me, Brandon, Jeremy, Kelsey, and Eric went to BUFFALO WILD WINGS! </div><div><br /></div><div>It's almost like a 3 hour mission cuz of how long it takes to get there, eat, and get back but its so worth it! It was one of the most fun trips! As we were driving we had a great time talking and what not and when we got to BWW we watched monster truck and air shows on the TV! awesome! We couldn't make it thursday so I had to settle for the regular wings but they were still incredible. </div><div><br /></div><div>My mom sent me a gift card so I didn't have to pay a thing! It got even better because we went next door to Coldstone and got some ice cream. </div><div><br /></div><div>I used a gift card to there to get everyone ice cream! </div><div><br /></div><div>The total was 15.40 and there was 15.70 left on the card. Perfect...but what to do with the 30 cents....hmmm....So i used the gift card to buy 10 gummi bears! Worth every penny! </div><div><br /></div><div>Then on the way home Jeremy didn't want to hold his empty cup any more so at a red light he jumped out of the car and ran to a trash can and threw it away. Meanwhile the light had turned green and he was all stressed out about getting to the car but we made it!</div><div><br /></div><div>There were many inside jokes made but explaining them would not be funny to anyone else...But just know there was nothing but joy on that trip and so much smiling and laughter....best trip ever.</div><div><br /></div><div>Guys! BITE is going out of control! It's coming together so well! Take a look at what happened this last weekend!</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; white-space: pre; "><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ydXU4quKY8w&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ydXU4quKY8w&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></span></div><div><br /></div><div>Incredible! So don't forget to subscribe! It should be fun!</div><div><br /></div><div>I'll be seeing all of you at home soon. For those of you here in LA I will miss you immensely! I don't mean that lightly. I truly have grown to love you all and I hope to keep in contact with all of you. Much love!</div><div><br /></div><div>Jeremiah</div></div>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-80922302805729686912009-11-28T17:47:00.000-06:002009-11-28T18:08:09.324-06:00Thanks For the Giving...First of all I would like to say that Monday my boss told me I could leave 2 hours early if I took her Kenney Chesney greatest hits 2 album and listened to it and came back the next day and told her what my favorite song was and why.<div><br /></div><div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuSeEC5vg7XVQlvaNh7G1B0YOwRb-uyMYTdiKZ3c8DPla-UgV_e3M6zEMeXAIsWU0fL_EV3Fm-jH_SgvxuSV7DOBi4RuDWMiVxWiHS84o4OE6nSDvMHRP8ZgEq6JMFQiMIanAbneqeAHU/s1600/Photo+on+2009-11-23+at+16.18+%234.jpg"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuSeEC5vg7XVQlvaNh7G1B0YOwRb-uyMYTdiKZ3c8DPla-UgV_e3M6zEMeXAIsWU0fL_EV3Fm-jH_SgvxuSV7DOBi4RuDWMiVxWiHS84o4OE6nSDvMHRP8ZgEq6JMFQiMIanAbneqeAHU/s320/Photo+on+2009-11-23+at+16.18+%234.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409306026030736946" style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px; " /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>Needless to say.... I stayed till the end...</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanksgiving break started Wednesday and every day since I have done about nothing... </div><div><br /></div><div>Thanksgiving day was cool me and about 4 other people went to the Navarro's and we all brought different foods and had a grand ol dinner. I had 6 helpings of turkey! YAY! Then we continued the thanksgiving tradition that the Pilgrims did by watching Nightmare Before Christmas! I was told I wasn't allowed to sing along... sad. </div><div><br /></div><div>We then all played some game that Brandon taught us that confused everyone, but we soon stopped that and played nerts! Let me say that it is hard to reach all the way across the table in a timely fashion to beat someone to a pile...</div><div><br /></div><div>Then some people left and me and Brandon and Jeffery and Jeremy played LOST the board game...which is a lot of fun. We played twice until 2 in the morning. </div><div><br /></div><div>Fantastic. </div><div><br /></div><div>Friday I was going to work but I didn't really do much...oh well..</div><div><br /></div><div>Today we are continuing filming BITE starting at 5...I think.... I should check on that.</div><div><br /></div><div>Speaking of BITE... Last night I made a 30 second trailer for BITE that we released today....Check it out... I have missed you! Things are going super well here! We had a bunch of preproduction this week for BITE! Some of that preproduction was making me look more like a vampire. Translation: Dye my hair.... so here I am with my new hair.<div><br /></div><div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEico5L4Sr1dhV4OLnWojF1wXanhF9OdG5u1ty-5UEeelb7e9YtYMUSGnW98F76UULlw7juTFWJFinyQgJv5K7z-JYybUSX-xwAQ6cF8g0OqPRUIX9EeWl7q4hr7Zh3Q-DEJY5fX9vXO_qg/s1600/hair.jpg"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEico5L4Sr1dhV4OLnWojF1wXanhF9OdG5u1ty-5UEeelb7e9YtYMUSGnW98F76UULlw7juTFWJFinyQgJv5K7z-JYybUSX-xwAQ6cF8g0OqPRUIX9EeWl7q4hr7Zh3Q-DEJY5fX9vXO_qg/s320/hair.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5407181584825328450" style="cursor: pointer; width: 230px; height: 320px; " /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>Pretty intense right? The pictures don't really do the color justice. It is a reddish brown. It has a fairly strong red tint to it. It looks awesome. I have never dyed my hair before and it was fun. I really like my natural color but change is fun for a while. I love this color. </div><div><br /></div><div>Some other preproduction was ...research. So we all went and saw New Moon. It was a pretty cool movie i guess. It was alot of talking and relationships but there was some SWEET vampire fighting at the end! I loved it. Over all I enjoyed the movie. I am team Jessica. haha. She's bella's human friend that went to see the movie with her. She was hilarious in this movie even tho she was in it very minimally. </div><div><br /></div><div>Anywayz this thursday we started filming. We filmed a couple scenes in a bedroom that were short and not involving me. But yesterday we got up at 7am to begin filming. We traveled down south 30 min to an awesome park and a school that would let us film on their campus. We are using an area as the "town line" between Humantown and Vampiretown....much like chinatown or something. We filmed most of the town line scenes before the clouds went away and it started getting to bright. </div><div><br /></div><div>So we went to the park and filmed some really intense running scenes and an intense scene between me and Ellen. oh man! We looked at it later and color corrected some of it and it look SO GOOD! OH MY GOODNESS! I can't wait for this to be released. It was a heck of a lot of fun too. We took some amazing looking pictures. They will be released soon. We have to sort through them and pick some of the best ones and edit them and make them look even sexier! So I expect those will be released sometime this week or next week. Rest assured you guys will be the 1st people to see these! </div><div><br /></div><div>Then after filming some of us all came back to the room and we all had a pasta dinner. Then me and Jeremy and Eric played New Super Mario Wii! We were on the second to last level and we beat the game! YAY! </div><div><br /></div><div>Very satisfying day. </div><div><br /></div><div>I'll be back at OC on Dec 14th. I know its during finals week but hopefully I'll be able to hang out with most of you. It will be great to see everyone!</div><div><br /></div><div>Jeremiah</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-45355473453703465072009-11-15T13:54:00.000-06:002009-11-15T15:26:15.803-06:00Twi-BITE...Today was one of the funnest days! So my friend Kelsey is making a documentary on the Twilight craze and yesterday me and brandon went with her down to Santa Monica to the theater where New Moon will premiere. <div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAP6dzKBhYWQbwTIMOUCu8KVeQUUuDyMTykJmvGZE_2k7g6o6UkBBErWVZWvDD8vlQ3UQFcb8vXEP42vibQDaq527_tjjlVi3adWVX1bzV81EJXqbC75A-PwxXyMSoXG5AehoEREy8H5M/s1600-h/twilight-new-moon-teaser-movie-poster.jpg"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAP6dzKBhYWQbwTIMOUCu8KVeQUUuDyMTykJmvGZE_2k7g6o6UkBBErWVZWvDD8vlQ3UQFcb8vXEP42vibQDaq527_tjjlVi3adWVX1bzV81EJXqbC75A-PwxXyMSoXG5AehoEREy8H5M/s320/twilight-new-moon-teaser-movie-poster.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5404443085303713122" style="cursor: pointer; width: 216px; height: 320px; " /></a></div><div>There we talked and interviewed several people that have been camped out for the premiere since thursday and the premiere is on Monday! It was fun. We talked to members of a website called "Twilight Mom." Awesome.</div><div><br /><div> </div><div>There were some 36 year old women who met at the line for Twilight last year and then they became best friends and last year flew to Italy to go set stalking for some of the scenes shot in Italy for New Moon. Crazy. There were some ridiculous stuff. There were also five 16 year old girls camped out that we interviewed that had their dad there with them! Poor guy. </div><div><br /></div><div>We also saw the creator of the Twilight and New Moon board game and he challenged a bunch of people to the game and whoever beat him would get the game. It was really funny watching all of the people playing trivia for New Moon and stuff. Haha. </div><div><br /></div><div>Later that night me and Jeremy, Kelsey, Brandon, and Josh went to the center and hung out. We watched Twilight for some research for 2 projects we are working on for kinda spoofs on it. Hopefully they will go well. </div><div><br /></div><div>One project is a short webseries that will be like a spoof of Twilight. Tentatively called BITE.</div><div><br /></div><div>The other project is a Twilight Rap.... Josh Kennedy is nearly finished with it and from what I have heard so far....oooh its gonna be funny!</div><div><br /></div><div>Last night Jeremy got on a roll and he wrote like 10 short scripts for the mini episodes for the webseries we are going to try to film that is kinda like a Twilight spoof. It was crazy. We are going to have a meeting tonight to discuss everything! I'm so excited! I get to be a vampire! I might have to dye my hair some color so I look more vampire-y! I have always wanted an excuse to dye my hair some color....mostly black. But they said black would make me look more like a punk or something instead of a vampire....so we will see what happens. </div><div><br /></div><div>Also If you havn't seen this SNL spoof of Twilight....very worth it! </div><div><br /></div><div><object width="512" height="296"><param name="movie" value="http://www.hulu.com/embed/Ze2EnFNuQQLjoBA8ouWahA"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.hulu.com/embed/Ze2EnFNuQQLjoBA8ouWahA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="512" height="296"></embed></object></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-84779612354606007792009-11-14T04:30:00.000-06:002009-11-14T04:50:22.573-06:00This Week: Faster Than A Speeding Bullet Point...Nothing to interesting has happened in the past week. It was a V neck that was all the way down his chest. It was unreal. Just take one of the bikes and just start riding at top speed. They would all get on and start chasing us down La Brea. Dodging out of traffic, running red lights, looking back and seeing this flood of guys on bikes yelling at us! Then the scene would cut back to the guy left behind just sitting there sipping on his In N' Out drink. Then back to us as we reach our apartment and lock ourselves in our room as they are bangin on the door. We would throw the bikes out the window to appease them. </span></p> <p style="margin: 0px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal; min-height: 19px;font-family:Georgia;font-size:16px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0px;"></span><br /></p> <p style="margin: 0px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;font-family:Georgia;font-size:16px;"><span style="letter-spacing: 0px;">Now Josh has some material to put into his screen play. </span></p>The Illuminated Flamehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08201132568967918030noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5505907728590941324.post-65927092857558149352009-10-29T00:14:00.000-05:002009-10-29T01:10:04.198-05:00The Best Things In Life Are Free....but you still have to validate your parking..Yesterday started off splendidly. Unfortunately it had to start at 8am! It was then that I had to leave my apartment to meet my friends Dave and Brent in front of the CBS studio. There we waited in line for 3 hours and went through processing and at 12pm we were sitting in the audience of THE PRICE IS RIGHT! Thats right! Sadly, I was not told to "come on down." Though it seemed like i was in the winners area because 3 people from around me were told to come down to contestants row. It was fun in the commercial breaks because Drew would talk and tell stories. This one random girl yelled out that he wasn't paying attention to her. She was apparently talking about Drew paying attention to one side of the audience more than the other. So Drew put on "You'll Never Find" by Lou Rawls (look it up if you don't know what it is) And he danced with her the whole commercial break. He started taking his jacket off and tie and it was all very sexy. Then 30 seconds before we came back on the air a team of makeup artists attacked him with hairbrushes, makeup, and lint rollers and fixed his tie all in a matter of seconds. CRAZY.<div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihcyeemR45gVYBxO4jHiU9QR7nYBw-jFBEAsRUMmcJf6tGwxUCkqFdlPJ9zGA6iDkM5kAf1JQ-kei4S1Awjgb0HjYOlkfdsQY-SvLlE92YFcNGJ-bOn3cD1k58ByQRXUT0L5jKrJwHdC0/s1600-h/Photo+on+2009-10-28+at+22.16+%234.jpg"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihcyeemR45gVYBxO4jHiU9QR7nYBw-jFBEAsRUMmcJf6tGwxUCkqFdlPJ9zGA6iDkM5kAf1JQ-kei4S1Awjgb0HjYOlkfdsQY-SvLlE92YFcNGJ-bOn3cD1k58ByQRXUT0L5jKrJwHdC0/s320/Photo+on+2009-10-28+at+22.16+%234.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5397898380274981778" style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px; " /></a><br /><div><br /></div><div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOJ7aILTQebqUVTs3mUEy1-UFAccB2Pb7rxyUxYVx0c2u7ERmwmCNPgB9tWnl2zm4abeGFRrN8xt7as1yKuGs2WHko76qIX2kxG8Ay6DJ_LdiIaJq2yUOIglYedLK9Fkm5FdFLrvX8eSU/s1600-h/Price+is+right+1.png"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOJ7aILTQebqUVTs3mUEy1-UFAccB2Pb7rxyUxYVx0c2u7ERmwmCNPgB9tWnl2zm4abeGFRrN8xt7as1yKuGs2WHko76qIX2kxG8Ay6DJ_LdiIaJq2yUOIglYedLK9Fkm5FdFLrvX8eSU/s320/Price+is+right+1.png" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5397898403730263138" style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 215px; " /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOJ7aILTQebqUVTs3mUEy1-UFAccB2Pb7rxyUxYVx0c2u7ERmwmCNPgB9tWnl2zm4abeGFRrN8xt7as1yKuGs2WHko76qIX2kxG8Ay6DJ_LdiIaJq2yUOIglYedLK9Fkm5FdFLrvX8eSU/s1600-h/Price+is+right+1.png"></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_u-Pir6YVZCJUdzaHcnCgVeolHzppTN0_yYlX6THsYxeMHHQCVhkwxOhsa4l9x8-1lUeJ_tFAhs-TOK1QzE7t2fhXXMSnqKHpivBS8zJ20QoIX9fs0AxFhcdL49KDsdo1PIoaIx9_8Vs/s1600-h/Price+is+right+2.png"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_u-Pir6YVZCJUdzaHcnCgVeolHzppTN0_yYlX6THsYxeMHHQCVhkwxOhsa4l9x8-1lUeJ_tFAhs-TOK1QzE7t2fhXXMSnqKHpivBS8zJ20QoIX9fs0AxFhcdL49KDsdo1PIoaIx9_8Vs/s320/Price+is+right+2.png" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5397898635783207170" style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 208px; " /></a><br /><div><br /></div><div>We clearly did a Charlie's Angels type thing...I think iI'm Lucy Lou...So look for me Jan. 11th! It was pretty dang funny. It's about a young writer who writes a scifi story and enters it in a contest to be judged by his favorite author.
